Pastor Enoch Adeboye’s prophecies for 2026, including predictions of a reversed japa, reduced hunger, and economic recovery for Nigeria
Lagos — The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has released a set of hopeful prophecies for the year 2026, predicting improved economic conditions, reduced hunger, and a reversal of the growing emigration trend popularly known as “japa.”
Pastor Adeboye made the declarations during one of the church’s recent religious programmes, where he spoke on what he described as divine revelations concerning Nigeria’s future.
According to him, the tide of mass migration out of the country would begin to reverse, as better opportunities and improved living conditions emerge within Nigeria.
“There will be a reversal of the japa syndrome,” Adeboye said. “Many who left in search of greener pastures will begin to return, as God restores hope and stability to the nation.
The revered cleric also prophesied a significant reduction in hunger and economic hardship, assuring Nigerians that relief was on the way despite the current challenges facing the country.
He noted that although the nation has passed through difficult times, 2026 would usher in signs of recovery, renewed strength and improved welfare for citizens.
Pastor Adeboye further urged Nigerians not to lose hope, encouraging them to remain prayerful, patient and steadfast, stressing that positive change often comes after seasons of trials.
His prophecies have since generated widespread reactions across social media, with many Nigerians expressing optimism and faith in the predicted turnaround, while others called for complementary actions by leaders to bring about lasting economic reforms.
The RCCG leader, widely respected for his annual prophecies, has in the past made predictions that followers believe later came to pass, making his latest message one that continues to draw national attention.
