The Nigeria National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has refuted an online video which claimed that the Company’s fuel does not last.
The Chief Corporate Communications Officer (CCCO) of NNPCL, Olufemi Soneye, in a terse statement made available to Tribune Online on Saturday in Abuja, described the video as baseless, unfounded, and originating from an unverified and amateur research lacking in credibility, accuracy and professional oversight.
While reaffirming that NNPC’s fuel is carefully formulated with one of the best compositions which ensures optimal efficiency, durability, and environmental sustainability for consumers, Soneye said the video represents yet another desperate attempt by economic saboteurs to misinform the public and tarnish NNPC Ltd’s reputation and “undermine our operations and mislead Nigerians.”
