‘Go Home, Nigerians Have Rejected You’ – Wike Replies Atiku

Former Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike, has told Atiku Abubakar that the former Vice President has been rejected by Nigerians.

Wike said the Adamawa-born politician should pack up and go back to his home town because, according to him, the ex-VP had contested elections and failed several times.

Mocking Atiku, while addressing his followers in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, Wike said: “I heard Atiku say Nigerians have rejected us. Did we pick form [to contest Rivers’ LG election]? No.

“I hear Atiku Abubakar said that Nigerians have rejected us in Rivers State. You, who have contested and failed woefully, Nigerians have rejected you; therefore, go back home.”

Society watch reports that the All Peoples Party, APP, won 22 of the 23 local government council seats in the state when the election was conducted some weeks back.
