‘Ebola Cure Is Possible’ – Genesis

The General Overseer of Genesis Model Int’l, a parish of Celestial Church of Christ (CCC), Prophet Israel Oladele Ogundipe has re-assured Nigerians that the dreadful Ebola virus which was brought into the country by Liberian Sawyer can be cured with God’s intervention.
Ogundipe said this on Sunday, August 24, during a power-pack international convention called Bethel 2014 organized by the church in the ancient city of Alagbado, Lagos. The man of God who is known for his incredible signs and wonders said he is totally convinced that God can cure all diseases including the raging Ebola virus.
According to him, “If we listen carefully to the Lord, and do what is right in His eyes, and if we pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, according to the book of Exodus 15: 24, God will heal us from any disease. That is the assurance he has given us for being His righteous sons. So, I see nothing special in Ebola. If God can cure people with leprosy, why won’t he cure Ebola? The God I serve is an able God.”
Apart from praying for God’s intervention, the prophet also took the time to sensitize his congregants about the Ebola Viral Disease (EVD). At the end of the programme, he called on all Nigerians to pray fervently for God’s intervention to send packing the deadly virus.
Themed ‘El-Shaddai’ (meaning All Sufficient God), the convention was attended by over 5000 worshippers from far and wide.
In line with the theme “Shaddai”, the aims and objectives of the event were for God to reveal Himself as the God who is able to triumph over every obstacle and all opposition; and the One who is able to subdue all things to Himself.
And this came to fulfilment as the mammoth crowd experienced miracles, signs and wonders while they also joined prominent gospel artistes which include Ko’Ore, Dele Gold, Bisola Akinnanu of Omije Oju Mi fame among others in singing praises to God.
On the first night of the convention, a man in his 40s who came with crutches was healed from stroke as he walked away on strong legs. Also, an imbecile pregnant woman who was initially told would undergo cesarean operation delivered a baby without going under the knives after receiving prayers from the prophet.
