TV STAR, SEUN OLAGUNJU CELEBRATES 40TH BIRTHDAY IN STYLE

It was celebration galore last week Saturday, April 18, 2015 when Seun Olagunju, a trail-blazer in the broadcasting industry finally rolled out the drums to celebrate her 40^th birthday. Held at M&M event Center, beside Jimoh Ibrahim’s Nicon Luxury Hotel Abuja, the ball was most splendid as notable women and men from all far and wide thronged into the venue to celebrate the woman of virtue. In attendance was Chief Mrs. Titi Atiku, the courteous wife of former vice president, Atiku Abubakar, Senator Folashade Bent, Mrs Biodun Yuguda, First Lady Bauchi State, Mrs. Funke Kila and Mrs. Akogun. As for the male folks, those present were the minister of Aviation, Osita Chidoka, Boboye Oyeyemi, the amiable Corps Marshal of FRSC, DG of NAFDAC, Paul Orhi, DG NTA, Sola Omole and wife, prominent actor Dele Odule who is a very close friend of Dr. Kayode Olagunju, the husband to the celebrant amongst other top dignitaries.

Apart from the intimidating number of celebrities who graced the event, what made the birthday shindig thick was the solid arrangement put together by the Olagunjus to record a magnificent event. From intercontinental dishes to local munchies, the party was filled to the brim with victuals; wines, champagnes and beverages of all sorts. An icing on the cake to the groove was a sterling live music performance by Tungba crooner, Yinka Ayefelu who kept the hall bubbling with his persuasive brand of music.

But before then, the birthday bash had kicked off on April 5, 2015 when Seun originally clocked 40^th. Though we do not know the reason why Seun shifted the celebration, what is impressive in her birthday celebration is her magnanimity towards the less privileged in our society.

On April 5^th, the highly cerebral woman celebrated her day with the less privileged kids at Mother Theresa Children’s Home in Abuja with all joy.

As for Seun, the saying that life begins at 40 seems to be true in her life. Having enjoyed four decades of pure grace and favour from God, the oriental TV gal whose look bellies her age looks is enjoying the best of her career and family life at the moment having traversed and headed some of the most notable media houses in the country.
