‘JAMB PALAVA PUSHED ME INTO ACTING’- SHAN GEORGE

Nollywood actress, Shan George has no doubt made a name for herself in the movie sector, but that was not her original plan in life. Shan would have loved to be a lawyer because that was her childhood dream, but the battle with JAMB pushed her into Nollywood. She once said: “I sat for JAMB for several years before in order to study law, but my score mark just didn’t permit me as it was below the needed point.”

Would she now quit acting for law? We may as well say that is a forgone issue.

However, when asked about the challenges she faces in interpreting some of her movie roles, the unassuming actress confessed that she is somehow lazy in interpreting her roles. “The major challenge has to do with the fact that I am not that very physical. I don’t like running and jumping around. But I just have to do it for the interpretation sake,” she whispered.
