Victoria Beckham launches high street range for Target

The former Spice Girl posted pictures of the soon-to-be released high street collection on her website and on Instagram.

The internationally renowned mother-of-four and lauded designer has created Victoria Beckham for Target with the collection boasting a whopping 200 items for women and children.

Victoria’s first foray into designing clothes for children was inspired by her daughter Harper.

Posh Spice said the collection is “influenced by all of the experiences I’ve shared as a mother with my children.”

US discount store Target said: “The collection reflects the essence of the Victoria, Victoria Beckham line, with easy-to-wear dresses, rompers and playful tops and bottoms for women, and corresponding styles for girls, toddler and baby.”

Despite Victoria’s usual dresses and accessories boasting a designer pricetag, her Spring collection for Target will range n price from around £5 to £60.

The star shared a number of images featuring the collection and shot by InStyle magazine to her Instagram account.

Victoria is seen surrounded by bunch of adorable children in a homely setting.

The former Spice Girl cautioned the image: “The most fun you can have on set, so cute!”

Victoria wears a set of light blue pin striped pyjamas, while one little girl wearing a pink paisley dress and another wears a white one.

Victoria opened up to InStyle about her relationship with her five-year-old daughter Harper.

Speaking about her inspiration for the collection, her daughter, she said: “You really get a sense of the relationship between Harper and me. This is fun, easy, cute, all of those things, Very honest. Very me.”

Of course, the former Spice Girl wasn’t always a designer and admitted she had to have a thick skin as she prepared to hold her first fashion show in 2008 criticised by her peers.

“I’ve got pretty thick skin,” she told the publication. “It could have been worse. They could have said, ‘We thought it was going to be rubbish, and it is.”

The star wrote on her website: “My limited-edition collaboration with Target reflects the playful character of my Victoria, Victoria Beckham line, and is influenced by all of the experiences I’ve shared as a mother with my children.

“Including designs inspired by my all-time favourite VVB pieces, the collection contains clothing and accessories for women, girls, toddler and baby. x VB”

The collection will be released on April 9.
