Arsenal football club records highest defeat of all time
2 min readFootball fans across the globe have continued to lambast Arsenal for their 10 – 2 aggregate loss to Bayern Munich in their 2016/2017 UEFA Champions League round of 16 tie.
The Gunners who lost 5 – 1 to the Bundesliga champions in the first leg at the Allianz Arena were also demolished at the Emirates 5 – 1, in what could be described as an embarrassment of the highest order.
Theo Walcott opened the scoring at the Emirates, but Laurent Koscielny saw red before the floodgates opened on another tough night for Arsene Wenger as the German side replied with five goals.
