Anglican Bishop Laments Economic Hardship, Expresses Hope for Nigeria’s Recovery
An Anglican Bishop has expressed concern over the worsening economic situation in Nigeria, saying many citizens are struggling under severe hardship caused by rising living costs and economic instability.
The cleric noted that families across the country are facing increasing pressure due to inflation, unemployment, and the high cost of essential goods and services. He urged leaders at all levels to prioritise policies that would ease the suffering of ordinary Nigerians and improve living conditions.
Despite the challenges, the Bishop expressed optimism that the nation would overcome its current difficulties, stressing that Nigeria still possesses the resources and potential needed for economic recovery and national growth.
He called on citizens to remain patient, united, and hopeful while encouraging the government to intensify efforts aimed at restoring economic stability and public confidence.
The Bishop also appealed for prayers, cooperation, and collective responsibility among Nigerians, saying national progress can only be achieved through unity and good leadership.
