Again, Ganduje Denies Collecting Bribe From Contractors In Video
1 min readThe Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje on Friday denied collecting bribe from contractors handling projects in the state.
Ganduje maintained that the alleged bribery clips released by the publisher of Daily Nigerian was targetted at “tarnishing his image politically.”
The state Commissioner of Information, Muhammad Garba said this while representing the governor at the investigative committee set up by the state House of Assembly to probe the bribery allegation.
He stated that the allegation levelled against him were injurious.”
Chairman of the committee, Hon Baffa Babba Danagundi, assured the public that justice would be done to all parties involved.
Several videos have emerged online of the governors allegedly collecting a stack of dollar bills as bribe from contractors engaged in the state.
In the latest of such video which was released on Thursday evening, Ganduje could be seen receiving stacks of dollar bills while a voice was heard saying, “so far, we have received a total of $145, 000.”
Daily post reports that last week, a third video was released showing Ganduje allegedly receiving kickbacks from contractors.
