Nigeria Losses Father Of Accountants As Dafinone Dies At 91
1 min readNigeria’s accomplished accountant, David Dafinone, has passed on at age 91.
Guinness World Records recognised the family of the Sapele-born administrator for producing the largest number of accountants in human history.
His three sons and two daughters are all chartered accountants, together with himself.
Dafinone attended Abeokuta Grammar School and worked with the colonial government in Records and Registration Department in Kaduna.
He got a publicly-funded scholarship to study public administration at University of Exeter, England, in 1951.
In 1962, he became a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
