UEFA and FIFA are reportedly considering a major overhaul of the European qualification format for the 2030 FIFA World Cup, with plans to introduce a Champions League-style Swiss system.
The proposed format would replace the traditional group-stage qualifiers with a league-style structure designed to produce more competitive matches between Europeโs top national teams.
