Years back, the name of comedian Daniel Isiwele popularly called Omo Jesu was almost on the lips of all and sundry in the entertainment industry because of his punchline jokes. What also brought him fame was his well-admired radio program, the Landlord and Tenant on Lagos popular station, Faaji 106.5FM in Lagos.
But recently, the Marketing graduate from the Lagos State University(LASU) has been off the radar, both in public and on social media, and this has got some of his fans worried.
On his whereabouts, news has it that since he allegedly had a threat to his life by some unknown men who were constantly sending him threatening messages even when he was abroad and the police could not do anything about it, he has decided to go off the scene.
The last time he was spotted in public was at the AY Live show held in Manchester in December 2019 where he performed to the delight of many, and since then little or nothing has been heard about him.
But there are claims that the Edo State-born who also goes by the name Bishop of Comedy is hibernating in the United Kingdom as we speak. But will he stage a comeback into the industry? Only time will tell.
