President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari wasn’t well received during his condolence visit to Borno state.
The President saw it necessary to pay a visit to victims of activities of the Boko Haram insurgents in the state after he got back from the African Union summit in Ethiopia.
While the convoy of the president were making their way, some residents of Borno state booed him as they shouted in Hausa saying;
“Bama so!” “Bamayi!”, which translates to “We don’t want; we’re not interested.”
This comes as a surprise to many as Borno is a stronghold of the president.
