Super Falcons Claim First Win At Women’s World Cup

Nigeria, on Tuesday, won their first game at the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup in France.

The Super Falcons defeated Korea Republic 2-0 in a crucial Group A clash in Grenoble.

Kim Doeyon gave the African champions the lead in the first half, before Asisat Oshoala sealed victory after the break following a counter-attack.

Nigeria now have three points, following their 3-0 loss to Norway in the first game.

Thomas Dennerby’s ladies take on host nation France in their last group match.
